How Much Money BTS Will Make From BIGHIT And HYBE ?

1 years ago By Movies Desk

In a significant development for the global K-pop sensation BTS, all seven members have officially renewed their exclusive contracts with HYBE Corporation (formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment) and its subsidiary, BigHit Music. This renewal marks their second contractual commitment to the entertainment powerhouse, ensuring the group’s unity even beyond the year 2025, when each member is expected to complete their mandatory military service in South Korea.

Continuing Their Musical Journey

One of the most awaited aspects of this renewal is the assurance that BTS will continue creating music together after fulfilling their military duties. South Korean law obligates all able-bodied men aged 18 to 28 to serve approximately two years in the military. However, authorities granted permission to BTS members to postpone their service until they reached the age of 30, allowing them to maintain their momentum as a group.

Members Enlisting One by One

The process of military enlistment for BTS began with Jin and J-Hope, followed by Suga, whose real name is Min Yoongi. This step-by-step enlistment ensures that the group remains active, with the anticipation of all members returning to the stage together once their military obligations conclude. Suga, for instance, began his enlistment process after turning 30 on March 9.

Notably, BigHit Music expressed their gratitude to BTS and their dedicated fanbase, known as the ARMY, by making a substantial donation of 1 billion won (approximately $750,000) in the group’s name. This gesture underlines the strong bond between the artists and their management company.

Protecting Their Intellectual Property

In light of BTS’s immense popularity, HYBE has urged fans to be cautious of unauthorized tours or products that infringe on the group’s intellectual property rights. This serves as a reminder of the need to protect the creative and commercial interests of the artists.

Throughout the years, BTS has consistently emphasized their commitment to fulfilling their military duties when called upon by their nation. This dedication aligns with their reputation as responsible citizens and global ambassadors for South Korea.

A Historic Journey Continues

With this contract renewal, BTS embarks on a historic journey, promising their fans more music and performances in the future. Their impact on the global music industry remains undeniable, and their journey as a group is far from over. Fans around the world eagerly await their return and the new music that will undoubtedly follow.
