Symba: ‘I Am A Better Rapper Than Eminem”, Netizens Says “Who”

1 years ago By Movies Desk

Oakland native rapper Symba, who gained recognition after a co-sign from Dr. Dre in 2022, recently made bold claims about his rap skills compared to Eminem. In an interview with Revolt, Symba expressed his respect for Eminem as a man but confidently stated that he believes he’s a better rapper.

Symba, whose freestyle on Instagram caught Dr. Dre’s attention with the caption “One of my new favorites,” didn’t hold back his opinions on Eminem’s work. He acknowledged the greatness of albums like “The Slim Shady LP,” “The Marshall Mathers LP,” and “The Eminem Show,” calling them “fire.” However, he didn’t hesitate to voice his belief that he surpasses Eminem as a rapper.

Symba went further to challenge the notion of rap, emphasizing that “anybody can rhyme words.” To prove his point, he even called out someone in the interview to rap an Eminem verse, which left the individual silent.

Here are some of the reactions that people have shared on social media:

“Who is Symba?”

“Eminem is a legend. Symba is just a nobody.”

“Symba is delusional.”

“I respect Symba’s confidence, but I don’t think he’s better than Eminem.”

“Symba is a great rapper, but he’s not better than Eminem.”

“I’m interested to hear what Eminem has to say about this.”

Overall, it seems that most people do not agree with Symba’s claim that he is a better rapper than Eminem. However, there are also some people who respect his confidence and believe that he is a talented rapper in his own right.

It Is important to note that Symba’s claim is subjective, and there is no definitive answer to the question of who is the better rapper. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide who they think is better.

Symba’s journey in the music industry is notable. He initially gained recognition as a talented local basketball player in the Bay Area at just 13 years old. However, around the same time, he started honing his skills as a rapper.

In 2017, Symba signed a deal with Columbia Records, marking his entry into the mainstream music scene. However, due to a staff overhaul at the label, things didn’t work out as planned, leading him to go independent in 2018. Determined to make his mark, he didn’t give up.

In 2019, he landed another record deal, this time with Atlantic Records, further solidifying his presence in the industry.

Symba’s bold claim that he’s a better rapper than Eminem has certainly sparked discussions among music enthusiasts. His journey from a young basketball talent in Oakland to a rapper signed with Atlantic Records showcases his dedication and persistence in pursuing his passion for music. Whether or not he can back up his claim remains a subject of debate, but it’s clear that Symba is determined to make his mark in the world of hip-hop.
